Nocturne of a full moon over an Australian paddock. This is my first nocturne painting. I researched other paintings depicting the night, and also trees found in Australia. I know that there are wild horses also found in Australia. I compiled all the elements that I wanted to include, and came up with a composition that I liked. If you look closely, you can see a family of wild mustangs enjoying the night. I

I discovered fluid art a few years ago and enjoy combining the fluid acrylic pouring techniques along with hand painted details. Creating paintings with iridescent and metallic paints helps to create beautiful patterns and added interest in the composition. There are also many oil paintings in my collections.
